Lazio midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger could find himself on his way out of Rome according to reports in the Italian press. The 28-year-old German only joined the Serie A side in January from Stuttgart, but has found the task of breaking through into the Lazio first team a stiff one indeed.
"I was convinced I could play at Lazio, but I was wrong", said Hitzlsperger.
The midfielder went on to state that he is sure he could return to the Bundesliga. However, it is possible Hitzlsperger's next stop might not be Germany, but Turkey. Reports from that country have linked Trabzonspor with the former Stuttgart man, and given the large presence of Germans in Turkish football, this could be an adventure more suited to Hitzlsperger.
