According to Catalan daily Sport, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future at Barcelona remains uncertain. Although it is understood that manager Josep Guardiola still wants the player to be involved with the squad next season, there have been plenty of interest from other clubs that cannot be ignored.

It is believed that Premier League side Manchester City have launched a €35M bid to try to land the player, but Barcelona have asked for more. Reports claim the Catalan club have not ruled out the possibility of negotiating a deal, but will hold out for at least €50M if any agreement is to be made.

Should Man City increase their efforts to sign the Swedish striker, it would mean a reunion between the disgruntled star and the Blues manager Roberto Mancini, who worked together in Inter Milan.
