Although midfielder Frank Lampard admits England “need to improve on the last few games” after unimpressive wins over Mexico and Japan, he believes “when everyone is fit”, the Three Lions will be a real force to be reckoned with in the World Cup.

England’s stuttering form already has quite a few worried about how they’ll do in South Africa, but Lampard is certainly not one to be too concerned by the results. Speaking on the club’s official’s website, the midfield maestro said, “The manager, with the attention to detail that he shows, will go through everything. You can rest assured he won’t leave any stone unturned.”

The Three Lions, with their impressive qualifying campaign, are considered by many to be among the favourites to lift the World Cup this year, along with Spain and Brazil.
