Atletico Madrid are looking to swoop for David Trezeguet to boost their attacking options for next season’s La Liga. The 32-year-old is expected to end his 10 year association with Juventus this summer and Spain could be an attractive destination for the Frenchman.

Trezeguet has seen his playing time in Turin dramatically reduced over the past few seasons, with just 27 starts in the last two Serie A campaigns. Juventus, looking to rebuild, have little problem with his departure.

Atletico will face competition for the striker’s signature however, with Marseille, Sampdoria and even Brazilian side Corinthians all interested in adding Trezeguet to their squad.
