According to France Football, former Inter Milan star Adriano has signed a three-year deal with last season’s Serie A runners-up AS Roma. The 28-year-old is ready to come out of his European hiatus, which saw him rekindle his form with Brazilian sides Sao Paulo and Flamengo.

It is understood Adriano was really hoping for a return to Serie A after helping his boyhood club win a league championship, and he has got his wish with a free transfer to the Rome side. The Brazilian striker is expected to be officially revealed later today at the Stadio Olimpico.

Playing in Brazil in the last two years, Adriano racked up an impressive 34 goals in 48 matches, signs that the explosive striker is ready to once again return to the highest level of football.
