According to the Spanish press, Real Madrid have wrapped up the signing of Benfica standout Angel Di Maria, and expect the acquisition to be made official before the World Cup starts.

It is understood Los Blancos are desperate to wrap up the deal before the tournament begins, in order to avoid the young Argentinean talent’s price from shooting up should he perform extraordinarily well in South Africa.

Real are in such a rush to sign the promising winger, that although they refuse to pay more than €25M for the player, they have offered three reserve players to be included in the deal. Marcos Alonso, Pablo Sarabia, Rodrigo are understood to be heading to Portugal as part of the agreement to fast track Di Maria’s arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu.
