Linked with a loan or permanent move away from Old Trafford over the summer, Manchester United youngster Gabriel Obertan should remain with the club according to his agent Karin Djaziri.

Both Rangers and Saint Etienne had been mooted as possible loan destinations for Obertan after such limited playing time with Man Utd last season and it was even rumoured in some quarters that a French club would try to buy him outright. Not so though said Djaziri.

"[Obertan] will continue to learn. He will not leave this summer, that’s for sure."

Under contract until 2013, Obertan is still rated as an exciting prospect by Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson. However, the Frenchman, who arrived from Bordeaux in 2009, will surely want to see more first team football this coming season.
