Former England captain and current defensive rock John Terry has played down reports that the squad are set against coach Fabio Capello. Following England’s dire 0-0 draw against Algeria on Friday, rumours had surfaced suggesting that all was not well in the England camp and putting the blame firmly in the court of their Italian coach.

"I have seen a few reports myself"
, said Terry. "There’s no unrest in the camp at all".

It is unlikely Terry’s comments will damp down speculation within the English press that several players are extremely unhappy at Capello’s strict management style at the tournament.

With England struggling on the pitch and needing to beat Slovenia to ensure qualification for the knockout stages, the focus will continue to be on the highly paid former Real Madrid manager.
