Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero has admitted that he couldn’t care less about how Spain’s World Cup campaign would turn out, after La Roja slumped to a shocking opening defeat to Switzerland. The 2008 European champions are set to face Honduras next, in what is seen as a must-win match for the pre-tournament favourites.

"I do not care what they are doing in the Spain camp,” Aguero said on Spanish paper Marca. “I’m with Argentina and the only thing I am focused on is success with Argentina. Whether they qualify or not (Spain) is a problem for them.”

Having won their first two matches, Argentina are already through to the knockout stages, while manager Vicente Del Bosque’s side need rediscover their form. If Spain fail to get a win against Honduras, it will set up a tense final group match against Chile, who are considered a very tough team to overcome, with La Roja needing a victory.
