AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi is believed to be keen on the services of Oliver Bierhoff. The Milan supremo thinks Bierhoff’s great organisational skills could be put to good use at the San Siro and wants to add him to his staff according to the Hamburger Morgenpost.

What the German’s exact role at the club would be is at this stage unclear, but Bierhoff is currently in South Africa, filling the role of German national team manager. While this does not involve any coaching duties, it does involve managing the relationship between the press and the squad. It is a position that was created under Jurgen Klinsmann.

Bierhoff is expected to part ways with the German team after the World Cup, at which time he will have held the position for five years. A move to Milan therefore, could be very welcome for the former striker who knows all about Serie A.
