Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil has spoken out ahead of the country’s quarter-final meeting with Argentina on Saturday. The Werder Bremen star, who was superb in his side’s 4-1 rout of England in the last 16, has said that his team-mates do not fear Diego Maradona’s men.

"We know the quality of the Argentina team, it has many great players, world class, but we are not afraid, we also have many qualities ourselves."

Argentina will be gunning for revenge when the two sides meet, having experienced the pain of a quarter-final exit to the Germans four years ago in Berlin.
