Lille are preparing for a summer transfer battle to hold onto their most prized asset, young winger Eden Hazard. The young Belgian starred for the Ligue 1 side last season and attracted interest from right across Europe. Now Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have started to get serious.

According to French paper Le Parisien, Real Madrid have already sent over a bid of €22M for Hazard, certain the youngster has a bright future and would cost even more in a year or two. Lille however, not needing to sell, have rejected the offer.

After the Spaniards had bid, an even higher proposal arrived from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich which, although the exact figure is not yet known, was also rejected.

It would appear that the French side are determined to keep Hazard at the club for next season, with only perhaps a ridiculously high offer able to change their mind.
