Holland star Wesley Sneijder has played down talk he could leave Inter after just one season. Sneijder joined from Real Madrid last summer and was instrumental in the Serie A side’s march to the Champions League, as well as retaining their title and bagging the Coppa Italia.
Linked in recent days with a move to Manchester United especially, Sneijder said: "I’m not surprised by the interest, because I’ve been playing well, but my intention is to remain with Inter."
Currently joint top scorer at the World Cup, Sneijder also said that he would like to speak to Inter about extending his contract from its current 2013 end date upon his return.
