Brazilian striker Robinho is not keen on returning to Manchester City upon the completion of his loan spell with Santos. The 26-year-old, who cost the English Premier League club a hefty £32M when he signed from Real Madrid in 2008, does not want to continue his career in the North West.

Catalan daily Sport understands that Robinho is pushing to move to either Barcelona or one of the biggest clubs in Serie A, while continuing his stay in Brazil would also be an option.

Man City for their part are believed to be searching for the best solution for Robinho and themselves for a smooth deal – this does not necessarily mean the club paying the highest price.
