Following speculation that Mario Balotelli could be on his way out of Inter, with both Manchester City and Manchester United tracking developments, new Nerazzurri boss Rafael Benitez has said he is keen to talk to the striker to assess his state of mind.

Benitez said that while some players are always quality, with Balotelli "I need to assess his mentality and personality." The Spanish boss also said perhaps the change of coach at Inter will allow the striker to play more after repeated fall-outs with Jose Mourinho last season and this will cause him to be much happier.

Should Balotelli exit the European Champions then he is expected to cost any buying club between €30-35M.
