Nice have yet to do a deal for in-demand striker Loic Remy, despite a number of sources claiming the Frenchman was set to join Liverpool. L’Equipe understand that the English club have yet to even submit a bid for Remy and have let it be known that if they do, it is unlikely to be more than €12M.

This presents Nice with something of a problem as they aim to secure the highest possible amount for their young forward. Having already rejected a €17.5M bid from West Ham United for Remy, Nice would surely feel unable to sell for €5.5M less.

Remy however, is believed to fancy a move to Anfield and has been left in limbo, unsure exactly where his future lies. To further complicate matters, both Bordeaux and Lyon are watching developments closely and will be ready to pounce should there be a signal Nice will accept less than expected for the forward.
