Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has said that defenders will be scared of playing against his new signing Javier Hernandez. The little Mexican scored the fifth goal in Man Utd’s 5-2 win over the MLS All-Stars recently, lobbing in a beautifully weighted shot.

"The one thing defenders worry about is players with speed who get into the space behind them", Ferguson told Man Utd’s official site. "When you see Hernandez’s goal it is an indication of that speed. The timing of his run, coming towards the ball spinning he is going to be a threat to defenders, no question."

Ferguson is sure to be counting on Hernandez making his presence felt in the Premier League next season as all the signs point to no more arrivals at Old Trafford before the big kick-off.
