Sami Khedira has completed his move from Stuttgart to Real Madrid and explained his motivation was Jose Mourinho because he believes the Portuguese coach to be a winner.
The German World Cup star has cost Los Blancos a fee rumoured to be in the region of €9.5M, but the exact amount has not been disclosed.
"This is a dream come true", Khedira said when his move to the Bernabeu was official. "At Real Madrid I know Jose Mourinho will win titles."
For Stuttgart losing the talented 23-year-old so close to the start of the new Bundesliga season will be a big blow, however the Schwaben side could not stand in Khedira’s way when Real Madrid came calling.
Much is expected of Khedira at the Bernabeu and all eyes will be on the German when he makes his debut in a white shirt.
