Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has said there is not any price that the club would sell left back Ashley Cole for as speculation continues to mount over the England man’s future. The Italian has made it clear however, that no approach for Cole is welcome and he will not be sold.
"Ashley Cole is and will remain a Chelsea player. Everyone can forget the idea he will leave this club. There is no price that will make us sell."
Cole suffered a difficult time off the pitch last season and there were suggestions from some quarters that he would welcome a switch away from England to escape the limelight. A move to link up with Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid was mooted, but Chelsea appear to have closed the door on any transfer.
