Reports from Germany suggest that Wolfsburg have agreed a fee with Juventus for the transfer of Brazilian playmaker Diego. The Bundesliga side have consented to send €17M to Turin, €1M less than the Old Lady originally wanted.

Diego has struggled in Italy following his move to Juventus from Werder Bremen and does not fit into coach Luigi Delneri’s plans for the forthcoming season.

Juventus had hoped selling Diego to Wolfsburg would smooth the passage of Edin Dzeko to Turin, but that move is still stalled as the Germans refuse to sell the Bosnian.

Despite a fee being agreed by the two clubs, Wolfsburg have yet to come to an arrangement with Diego over personal terms.
