Juventus are still hopeful that they can find a way to sign Edin Dzeko from Wolfsburg before the end of the summer transfer window. Relations between themselves and Wolfsburg look set to be improved by the sale of Diego to the Bundesliga club, but the Germans still want to keep hold of Dzeko.
The Bosnian hitman himself is thought desperate to move to Serie A, having commented that a deal with AC Milan was lined up last summer, but Wolfsburg persuaded him to stay another year with the promise of fulfilling his Italian dream then.
Dzeko is placing his faith in his agent Irfan Redzepagic to try and break the deadlock with Wolfsburg and help bring about a switch to Turin.
