Juventus are growing frustrated with their inability to close a deal for Wolfsburg star Edin Dzeko and could turn to Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor as an alternative.

The Old Lady have been chasing Dzeko for much of the summer and the Bosnian hitman has made clear his desire to move to Turin. However, the Steve McClaren coached club are doing all they can to keep hold of Dzeko and Juventus are becoming frustrated with the slow pace at which things are moving.

Now the Serie A giants are considering alternatives as the end of the transfer window draws closer, one of these being Adebayor. The Togo striker would apparently fancy a move to Serie A, especially as playing time at Eastlands is becoming limited. Juventus feel the former Arsenal striker could just fit the bill.

Another alternative under consideration within the corridors of power in Turin is Romelu Lukaku. However, there is concern that the young striker may not yet be ready to play a key role within Luigi Delneri’s new look Juventus.
