Promising Liverpool youngster Krisztian Nemeth is set to make a permanent move away from Anfield. The forward had been sent on loan to AEK Athens by former Reds boss Rafael Benitez and has made a positive impression in the Greek Super League. It seems though that there was no future on Merseyside for the Hungarian.

21-year-old Nemeth will, according to sources in Greece, sign a three-year deal with Athens giants Olympiacos. The Hungarian impressed Olympiacos last season and should be a key part of their push to take the title back from Panathinaikos.

Nemeth’s departure will be mourned by fans at the Premier League club as he was highly rated by Benitez and tipped for a big future in the game.
