Legendary Brazilian striker Ronaldo has told his Twitter followers that his body is struggling to cope with the stresses and strains of football.
The former Inter star has suffered an injury blighted career which, were it not for constant niggles, could have actually seen him achieve even more.
Ronaldo, now playing in his homeland with Corinthians, told his followers that the end can’t be too far away.
"I would love to continue playing, but my body is asking to leave eternally", said the Brazilian, going on to add: "I’ll stop at a certain time and for me it will be very sad."
