Marseille may have to spend the last few days of the transfer window deciding upon the future of Brazilian striker Brandao. The former Shakhtar Donetsk star has attracted serious attention from Russia and Germany and could yet move.

The 30-year-old has been the subject of bids from Rubin Kazan and Schalke and following the arrival at the Stade Velodrome of both Andre-Pierre Gignac and Loic Remy, may rightfully question his future at the Ligue 1 side.

Brandao remains highly rated throughout Europe and particularly impressed during his time in the Ukraine. He joined Marseille in 2009 and has so far bagged 15 goals for the French club.

Whether they will be prepared to consent to his departure just days before the transfer window shuts remains to be seen.
