Young defender Yohan Benalouane is preparing to swap Saint Etienne for Juventus in a shock move. The 23-year-old centre back has been overlooked by the Ligue 1 side in recent weeks in favour of Sylvain Monsoreau and this alerted Juventus to his possible availability.
L’Equipe reports than an agreement has been reached between the two sides and Benalouane will cost Juventus a fee of €1M plus a number of bonuses related to his future performance. The defender is expected in Turin imminently to finalise the details of his switch to the Serie A giants.
