Juventus have moved quickly after being snubbed by striker Toto Di Natale. The Old Lady thought they had agreed a deal with Di Natale, only for the forward to decide he wanted to stay at Udinese. Now the Serie A side are closing on Napoli striker Fabio Quagliarella.

The 27-year-old will arrive to boost the club’s frontline as David Trezeguet moves closer to the exit door. Brazilian midfielder Diego may also make a late transfer window move to Wolfsburg.

Di Natale had been coach Luigi Delneri’s first target, but Quagliarella is considered an excellent second choice. The striker only penned a five-year deal with Napoli in 2009, but now looks set to head to Turin.
