New AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has promised to repay the club’s fans with goals after being paraded to the Rossoneri faithful. Ibrahimovic has completed a season-long loan switch from Barcelona and Milan have the option to make it permanent for €24M.
The Swedish striker watched his new team-mates demolish Lecce 4-0 at the San Siro last night and was instantly impressed with what he saw.
"Pato and Ronaldinho were fantastic", beamed Ibrahimovic. "They all played well and I also saw the usual Inzaghi. The fans were fantastic with me and I felt welcome and I’m happy."
Ibrahimovic also promised goals, telling the fans that he hopes "to score more than 25 goals" but reiterated the most "important thing is to win."
