AC Milan have continued to shift players off their books before the transfer window shuts by selling striker Marco Borriello to Roma for €10M.

Borriello joins Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Kakha Kaladze in exiting the Rossoneri in an attempt to raise cash and make space on the wage bill for the newly arrived Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho.

Borriello had been expected to head to Juventus, but that deal did not materialise. Roma will be delighted to snap up the highly rated Italian international and the 28-year-old will be keen to make a splash in the capital.
