Inter president Massimo Moratti is reportedly dreaming of taking Kaka to the European Champions according to reports in Italy. There is a widespread feeling amongst the Nerazzurri that rivals AC Milan outdid them in the summer transfer window, signing both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho – and Inter want to hit back.

Moratti and senior club officials have already gone on record as saying that no major signings were made because none were felt to be needed. However, ominously for their rivals, they have promised to review the situation in January.

Kaka has not made the splash hoped for at Real Madrid, is currently out injured, and enjoyed some of his best football in Serie A. Inter think that it may be possible to both tempt Los Blancos to parting with the Brazilian and convince Kaka to head back to Italy.

Any move is undoubtedly very much still on the drawing board though.
