According to reports from Italy, Juventus have added Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema to their shortlist for the January transfer window. The Old Lady want to make sure they sign a new forward in the New Year, and are also keeping an eye on Spurs man Jermain Defoe.

Juventus are aware of Benzema’s desire for regular first team football and are watching the Bernabeu closely to see if Jose Mourinho meets that need. La Gazzetta dello Sport also places Maxi Lopez and Giampaolo Pazzini on the Turin giant’s wanted list too.

While Benzema is keen to make a go of his Real Madrid career, believing he could yet flourish in La Liga, the Frenchman is thought to be open to the possibility of a switch to Serie A and would take any approach by Juventus very seriously.
