Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola has warned the side’s critics that they should not underestimate his players. The Camp Nou side suffered a shock home defeat against Hercules at the weekend in La Liga, but Guardiola remains sure that is simply a blip.
"If you think that I doubt this team, let’s have it clear", said the Catalan coach. "Never doubt these players. They could have the worst season in history and it is still impossible to doubt them."
There is no doubt that Guardiola has his players set up to win tonight’s home match against Panathinaikos. Indeed, the boss said that if the Catalans can win all their home matches, then they have a margin for some error in the away ties.
