Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is hoping to see Mario Balotelli back on the pitch after the next set of Euro 2012 qualifying fixtures according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian has struggled with injury since arriving at Eastlands from Inter, but hopes are high that he can soon return and make his presence felt in the Premier League.
A return after the Euro 2012 qualifiers would put Balotelli on course to play a part in Manchester City’s Premier League trip to face Blackpool on 17th October. However, Mancini may wish to ease him in slowly, in which case the meeting with Arsenal on the 24th of the same month may be a more realistic target.
