England coach Fabio Capello believes that AC Milan should soon be challenging at the top of Serie A after signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho. Capello, a former Milan boss, told Gazzetta dello Sport that while Inter were their usual dominant selves, Milan could surprise.

"Inter do not surprise me", said Capello. "How good is the new Milan? They can make a really big leap with the two recent acquisitions of Robinho and Ibrahimovic. [Massimilano] Allegri just needs to work. Let’s give him time."

The current England manager also praised Cesena, the little outfit tipped for relegation at the start of the season. Cesena have picked up seven points from three games so far, putting them joint top of the table with Inter. "The party of Cesena is great!" said Capello.
