Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has hailed Robert Green’s world-class display for West Ham against his side yesterday. Green made a string of stunning saves to put his World Cup heartache behind him and help Avram Grant’s side to a 1-0 win.

"It was end-to-end stuff, almost like a basketball game. They had chances, we had chances and their goalkeeper made a couple of world-class saves", explained the the Spurs boss.

"Green’s a top goalkeeper who has had a bit of a difficult time of late, but he was in great form against us. He made some fantastic saves."

Redknapp could not be disappointed with Spurs’ display though, believing very much that it was Green who has stood in the way of them and victory at Upton Park. "We just couldn’t get a break in front of goal", bemoaned the former Portsmouth manager.
