Barcelona’s feeling that Cesc Fabregas could head to the Camp Nou next summer has been boosted by the performances of Jack Wilshere.

Reports from Spain suggest the Catalan giants think that in Wilshere, Arsene Wenger has the perfect replacement for Fabregas and that by next summer, the 18-year-old will have developed enough to make the Frenchman agree to the sale of his Spanish star.

It is likely that next summer Josep Guardiola will once again make a move for Fabregas the central plank in the club’s transfer activity and he will hope for more success in convincing Wenger to part with the player.
