Sevilla’s Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano has said that he could look for pastures new in the January transfer window. The 29-year-old was heavily linked with a moves Marseille this past summer, but that did not materialise and he remained in Spain. However, Fabiano’s has not enjoyed the playing time he would wish, nor found the back of the net as often as he hoped.

"I do not want to leave in January", the Brazilian told the club’s website. "I just want to play again. By January, there is still time [for me to play]."

The striker admitted though that he does not know what the future will bring and he is prepared to move in the winter transfer window if a situation which he believes does not suit either party continues.

"If my current situation is the same in January. I will seek a solution. But for now, I do not have to leave the club. I wish to focus on Sevilla and become important here. But I need this continuity. Not playing a game, and then sitting on the bench, is not good for me. I do not understand how this situation is good for me or the club."
