After speculation surrounding possible switches to Real Madrid and Manchester United, Wesley Sneijder is sure that he will soon sign a new contract with Inter. The Dutchman also reassured the club’s fans that the Nerazzurri remain his priority.

"There are not any [big] details, [just] the little things. I do not think it will be a problem agreeing the contract", Sneijder told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Sneijder did admit that he knows he would have options if he decided to walk away from the San Siro, but that is something that could not be further from his mind.

"There would be many options if I decided to change, but the priority is to find a new deal with Inter and I think that will happen soon."

Inter are keen to keep hold of the Dutchman who has been sensational since he arrived from Real Madrid. Sneijder was a key player in helping Inter to a famous treble last season and, despite the loss of Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid, has gone on record as saying he sees no reason why they cannot repeat the trick this season.
