Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has suggested that there is little chance of him leaving the Old Lady. Buffon, considered as one of the finest keepers in the world, had been linked with a move away from Turin, but quashed those rumours a month ago. Now the Juventus star has reaffirmed his commitment to the Serie A side.

"I have two more years left on my contract and I don’t think there’s any basis for any kind of [farewell] speech", Buffon said to Italy 1.

"As I always say, the newspapers are filled with all sorts of news, which is unfounded and I do not know where [the rumours] have come from."

The 32-year-old has been with Juventus since 2001, when he moved from the team of his youth, Parma. There is little indication in Turin that the Old Lady are looking to sell the player, and Buffon himself has made clear he wishes to stay.
