Roberto Mancini believes that Arsenal are probably, on current form, the best team in the Premier League at the moment, and Manchester City will have to be on song to take the three points against them on Sunday. Arsenal beat Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk 5-1 in their midweek Champions League clash, while City disposed of Polish upstarts Lech Poznan by three goals to one.

"We must recover after playing Poznan – Arsenal will be a very different game", Mancini told the club’s official website. "[Arsenal] play very well, probably the best team playing in the Premier League, and they won their Champions League game in midweek 5-1."

The Italian confirmed though that the City squad is in fine fettle and ready for the challenge which Arsenal pose. Mancini will also be well aware that City saw off Arsenal 4-2 when the sides met at Eastlands last season.

"I am feeling good, the squad is feeling good, but it is only the start of the season. We must wait and continue to work. When you play every three days, it is a very long season. The game is important for us, and for Arsenal."
