Borussia Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios has explained that he is committed to the Bundesliga club and the thought of leaving is not one he has entertained. The Paraguay star has been impressive since he arrived in Germany and Dortmund are widely thought to have bagged themselves a bargain by signing the player in 2009 for €4.2M.

And with Dortmund having made a good start to the current Bundesliga season, Barrios is more than happy at the Ruhr giants.

Speaking to Kicker, Barrios explained that the he would only "go away if the club needs money." Adding, "I want to stay at Borussia Dortmund and win trophies."

The Paraguayan had been linked in the past with moves elsewhere, and he confirmed these were on the table, but he had snubbed them because of his love of Dortmund.

"That’s why I did not care when AC Milan and Rubin Kazan made offers."
