Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp was not too disheartened by his side’s 1-1 draw against Everton yesterday. Despite having home advantage in the Premier League fixture, Spurs had to settle for a point, coming from behind to grab it, thanks to a Rafael van der Vaart goal.

Speaking after the game, Redknapp said that Spurs had little reason to be disappointed with a draw against David Moyes’ side, as the Merseyside club are a good outfit.

"They are a good side, you do not ever get an easy game against Everton", explained Redknapp, adding, "We have the better chances, but it was always going to be a tough day off the back of a hard week."

Indeed, there were those who felt Spurs might slip-up after a tricky away Champions League game to Inter in midweek, a match that finished 4-3 to the Italians and forced the Premier League side to play with ten men for 80 minutes.
