Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero has stated his desire to keep on playing, whether for Juventus or outside Italy, and admits the thought of scoring at Juventus’ new stadium, the Juventus Arena, is an exciting one.

The 35-year-old striker, who will turn 36 in November, had been answering Gazzetta dello Sport when questioned ahead of the weekend’s clash with Inter at the San Siro. It was put to Del Piero that the match may well be the last time he plays as a starter at the San Siro.

"If I think tomorrow could be the last time I play as a starter at the San Siro? I think I will seek to enjoy the experience…", said Del Piero.

The striker also said that he has "a desire to score in the new stadium", but also added that a new contract "will be a natural choice made by myself and the club."

And Del Piero did not rule out the possibility of playing abroad even at this late stage of his career saying that: "One thing is certain, I want to continue playing. At Juve or abroad. In Italy I could not wear another shirt."
