Juventus are planning to return to Wolfsburg in January to try to sign Edin Dzeko. The Old Lady have been interested in the Bosnian hitman for the past two summers, but his Bundesliga club have refused to contemplate a sale.

Dzeko is known to favour a switch to Italy, even going so far as to publicly complain when a move to Serie A was blocked in the summer; Juventus hope the situation will be different in January.

Wolfsburg have made an uninspired start to the new Bundesliga season, and currently sit 12th, with just 13 points from 11 games. Should the Volkswagen Arena outfit fail to qualify for Europe, there is surely little chance they could keep hold of Dzeko next summer, though Juventus want the striker in January.
