Paris Saint-Germain are already thinking about next season and plans are under way to persuade goalkeeper Apoula Edel to sign a contract extension at the Ligue 1 club.
PSG are keen to tie down Edel for another three years and are aware that there is significant interest in the keeper from Olympiacos. Edel, who has seen Gregory Coupet wear the number one shirt, wants the status of a number one and a substantial increase in salary.
The 24-year-old, who is Cameroonian by birth, is a naturalised Armenian following a three-year spell with Pyunik Yerevan. From there the keeper moved to Rapid Bucharest, before signing for PSG in 2007.
