Barcelona boss Josep Guardiola has said that he expects this evening’s El Clasico to be much the same as when the Camp Nou played host to Inter last season. Inter employed ultra defensive football against Barcelona as Jose Mourinho put the Blaugrana out before going on to win the trophy in Madrid.

However, Guardiola also stated his side will not abandon their attacking beliefs if Real Madrid do choose to defend as Inter did.

"What game do I expect? A game like Barcelona and Inter", said Guardiola. "We will attack, and will not hide anything."

On refereeing, an issue which had been brought up by Mourinho, Guardiola was silent. "I have nothing to say", said the Barcelona coach.
