Anderlecht have given warning that any club wishing to buy their talented young striker Romelu Lukaku will have to pay a fee in excess of €20M. The Belgian giants are well aware of how highly Lukaku is rated by a number of European giants and would like to keep hold of the player for a while longer, unless an offer arrives that simply cannot be refused.

And such an offer will need to be above €20M explained Anderlecht supremo Herman van Holsebeeck.

"He who is in Brussels with €20M returns home empty handed", explained Van Holsenbeeck, before adding that "Lukaku will not leave in January, we will decide his future in the summer."

Compared to a young Didier Drogba, Lukaku has impressed in his own right at Anderlecht and the likes of Chelsea, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Inter have all been linked with moves for the striker. However, with Anderlecht taking a firm stance, whoever succeeds in bagging the player’s signature will have to have spent big.
