Werder Bremen striker Marko Arnautovic, who scored his side’s second goal in their 3-0 rout of Inter in the Champions League last night, explained that the club he faced is very different from that for which he previously turned out.

Arnautovic spent time at Inter last season and made three appearances for the Nerazzurri – but the Austrian does not recognise that team, which went on to become European champions and win a treble of trophies, any longer.

"I am very happy for this goal and then winning against my former team. Winning 3-0 against the European champions is always important", stated the striker.

"This is a whole different team from that in which I played", explained Arnautovic, although he did point out that the Italians had "many absences."
