Barcelona and PSV have moved to confirm further details of the transfer of Ibrahim Afellay to Spain. Afellay will arrive at the Camp Nou on 23rd December, and then undergo a medical the next day, before formalising the few remaining outstanding issues.
The 24-year-old Dutchman will be welcomed at the Camp Nou, and arrives as a boost to an already strong Barcelona squad. PSV, for their part, are pleased to have realised some sort of fee for their midfielder, given the very real prospect of losing Afellay for nothing at the end of the season.
