Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has stated his belief that coach Jose Mourinho is the best in the world, but faces his biggest ever challenge at the Bernabeu.
Los Blancos suffered a rout at Barcelona in the first El Clascio of the season, being thrashed 5-0, but that has not caused Perez’s faith in the Portuguese tactician to waver. Perez also acknowledged that Mourinho has to cope with extremely demanding supporters.
"Our squad has to live with the pressure of the fans", explained Perez. "They are demanding, but they are right."
Perez went on to explain that he backs Mourinho to deliver for the fans and believes the Portuguese to be the best coach in world football.
"There is no doubt he’s the best in the world, as evidenced by his CV, but this is the biggest challenge of his career."
